The contest is open to the general public, including students, academics, data scientists, data journalists, and graphic designers. Group submissions are welcome with no more than three people per group.

Where/when do I submit?

Entries must be submitted via online form by the deadline on December 28, 2018 at 11:59PM (EST).

  • Make the data accessible for all (i.e. the public, researchers, and policymakers, etc.)
  • Include interactive or dynamic data analysis

What will you win?

The winning individual or team will be invited to a free trip to Patient Privacy Rights Foundation (PPR) Health Privacy Summit on January 28-29, 2019 and receive prestigious recognition at the PPR ceremony dinner in Washington D.C. Their work will also be featured and promoted on theDataMap website.

The winner(s) will be announced on January 7, 2019.
